The price for the reception is very good. Depending on your area there maybe other places that will offer a competitive rate. If you have the money perhaps you should hire a wedding planner. They will have connections to get the best results for your budget. Also when you stress out they will be there to calm your nerves and reassure you that everything is going okay. Sometimes your church or the reception place will have someone that can help if you can not afford a wedding planner. Best of luck.

First, about the dreams, I have has similar dreams (and I hope they go away). My wedding is in two weeks and I cant wait for them to be gone. I've dreamed that I was sitting in the santuary at the church about 10 minutes before the wedding started chatting with the guests, except I was not dressed and in plain clothes, my hair wasnt done, I didnt have any make up on or anything. Then I had a dream that I was late (I dont know where I had been) and I showed (not dressed) just as the bridesmaids were walking down the aisle. They werent waiting on me. I had another dream that my mother decorated without me and nothing was what we had bought or my decorations. My colors are black and white and there were like rainbows of colors. And I spend a bunch of money on flowers, and she used about 4 out of 100 tulips that I ordered. I had a dream that my fiance just broke up with me for no reason two weeks before the wedding. We've been living together for about a months, we moved all of my stuff in so we wouldnt have to do it after the wedding. In my dream, I didnt have anywhere to live. It was nuts. But I know he loves me, I'm pretty much prepared and everything is fine, I've even given myself extra time the day of the wedding to get ready (so I'm not late) but I guess the dreams are normal.

Hello, about your dream it is because you are getting worked up about the wedding. If you just take time to relax you have another whole yr. Just do baby steps and things will fall into place. I understand those dreams I had them up until I got married this past march.
About your 2nd ?; I would keep looking around and make sure you take business cards of every place you looked at and make sure you write the prices and everything it comes with for the price then look them over with your fiancee and then pick one that fits your budget. I did a wedding for 300 people with food, decorations and centerpieces for $2000.00 (that was for a country club resort). So keep your options open and then chose.

Yes, that is a good price for the table and decorations, does that include the food, too? If so, you would have a wonderful deal. Why you are getting those dreams is because your subcontious self is worried about your "Big Day" and your spirt, soul, mind and body are nervous that it won't be "Perfect." No need to worry, your Big Day will go beutifully! You have well over a year to prepare, I am am sure that it will go just fine. Congradulations, and you are getting married in the month that I was born!
Good Luck! **(((Hugs)))**

Dreams like that are just realizing your fears. It doesn't really mean anything except that you are scared of that happening. When I first started planning my wedding I had dreams like that. As my wedding got closer I had dreams of obscure thing happening during the ceremony. Everything worked out fine.
As far as the reception. It really depends on what food they are serving, how extravagent the set-up is, exactly what these center pieces are and how customed designed they are. I think it is a little much altogether, but I'm cheap. Again those factors will influence its overall value.

$15 per person for the entire reception is an excellent price. I paid more than that 12 years ago.
I would say you're a little anxious about your wedding because you still don't have all the details nailed down. You just need to get organized now. Good luck.

They are only dreams....don't let them get to you! Start planning now and you'll be golden!
That's not a bad price, about $15/person, not including the centerpieces, building, etc. Does it include table linens? I would assume so.
We just got married and paid $350 for the site, plus $12/person (we had 100 guests), plus about $120 on centerpieces....that gives you a little something to compare it to.

Calm down, I am having a beautiful wedding and it didnt cost me alot of money, I think we didnt even spend a $1000.00. I got my dress on ebay which was beautiful still had the price tag. I paid $25.00, I went to the dollar tree and bought all of the flowers for my bouquets. I just bargain shopped you would be amazed at the things you can find in consignment shops, garage sales etc. Wouldn't you rather have more money for your honeymoon? We did. And it was so fun doing it by myself with the help of the bridesmaids. We are getting married in July, I had 3 months to plan, I did it on weekends and after work. If you have any questions you can email me @ jessicapatrick78@yahoo.com Good Luck. P.S we are catering ourselfs with fingerfood. Hope I helped.

Calm down dear. If you don't have a coordinator I suggest getting one, this will help lighten your load and level of anxiety. Create a notebook for your wedding and include sections on everything you do: your dress, flowers, bridesmaids (including dress, shoes, etc.). Include pictures as much as possible and keep receipts. By keeping a notebook you will have something to look at to reassure you when you become anxious. That price does not sound bad at all. If you like what they have to offer, then go for it.

Your dream probably means that you're scared you're not getting enough done fast enough. As far as the decorations, it really depends on how much decoration you're getting. Does it include the flowers? You're probably getting a pretty good price, especially for a formal wedding.
