This question refers to a single document in Microsoft Word. I just want to be able to put the name of the company at the top of each page without having to do it every time for each page in the document.

Set up the document so there is only one section (this should be the default for a new document).

If the document has multiple sections, View>Header and Footer, then click the box on the pop-up menu that says "link to previous".

View
Header and Footer
On the Toolbar, Click the buttom showing a page with bars top and bottom (fourth from right in Office 2003)
First Click shows the header portion of the page. Insert what you want.
Subsequent clicks alternate between header and footer.

You first go to view, which in most cases is at the top of your page on your menu bar, once you click on view it will give you a list and close to the bottom of that list you will see header and footer. Once you click onto that a another little bar menu should pop up and give options of pages numbers
