OK, where people of biblical times lived was where? Around Suadi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, etc. That is all people knew existed. The ice never got that far. They never saw it and had no way to find out about it.

The authors of the bible were not archaeologists and had no knowledge of the Ice Age. Did the Ice Age leave many traces in the Middle East?

BIble is the book of love, from God to men. It is not intended to be a book for all subject.
Apart from the first 11 chapter about history of mankind, From Gen 12 onwards, it speaks of God's love, and that he want to bless the world, thru the seeds of Abraham. (12:2). Right to the end in Revelation, it is about hsi salvation plan for us.
Ice Age? Perhaps we should ask Sed (cartoon character in Ice Age & Ice Age 2).

Because "Ice Age" movie wasn't created yet, when the bible was written? Just kidding! ;)
Now, a serious answer. It doesn't appear in the bible because such events, most of the ones narrated on the Old Testament, are purely fictional.

Wow, their is no mention of even snow in The Bible. Wait a minute, their is no mention of humidity eitheir, or bright and sun shiny days eitheir... Their is no mention of weather in The Bible unless it has some importance to it. Let your mind wander, poor questionar, and it will find its answers. Dont limit its distance with "wanted answers", or "obvous answers". Maybe you will keep this in mind next time you want to ask a question on the internet...

OK this is on my watch list - fully expecting "because there wasn't one" answers ... can I respectfully add "and what about the dinosaurs" to the question.
I'm not having a go I'm just interested how things like that reconcile with the perceived "beginning to end" nature of the Bible.
Peace out

The earth is not as old as you think. The end of the Ice age is probably what caused the flood. 4400 years ago.

Because the bible is a work of fiction, much like "Of Mice and Men", or "Sorority House Sleepover". (Both are sweet books)
