Mine is a cat. The weird thing is that sometimes at night I can feel it brush against my face or jump on my bed, but the most amazing thing is that cat paw prints apear sometimes and lead me to safety like last week I came out of my apartment and I saw paw pents (it hd not rained but these were wet paw prints) leading to the side of my building so I followed them and a few moments later an armed robber busted out my apartment building holding a gun and shot a neighbor who was comig up to the door. If I had gone back inside or been walking to my car I would have been shot. I also have had the paw prints lead me to an injured snae on the side of the road. God works in mysterious ways and I know I am protected by angels and spirits animal guides. I think I may have been a Shaman in my past life becuase I have such a strong connection with my animal guide.

I do not have an animal guide but I understand that an animal guide is a link with the after life or what ever people wish to call life after death

I am a Badger. Badger and I have danced on the Red Road for the last 14 years. We met on a journey to the Lower World. I was stuck in the tunnel going down. First time it had happened. I was beginning to get a tad worried, ok, I was kind of panicking. My teacher, a Lakota trained with the Michael Harner school, had never mentioned getting stuck.
It was Badger who dug me out. I had been dancing with Panther but Badger told me I need Him more. He was right, of course. Badgers stick to things, cooperate with others, can be old and gray and still fight (especially defensively). Badgers also have a pretty good sense of humor.
I have since met a few Badger people. Not many around with Badger, but those who do are ok. I have a badger tattoo on each shoulder now. Each from a different Redwall book: Urthstripe from Salamandastron and Sunflash the Mace from Outcasts of Redwall.
Badger katchina is the doctor. I teach health physics. Somehow it fits.
Keep dancing your animal. Oh, and let me know what yours is, please. Feel free to write me. - Ah ho!

Yep, it is a giraffe. I had a couple different readings done by different people and they all said the same animal. It makes sense. I looked it up in a totem book about what it means and it totally applies to who I am.

I have a few.
A lizard-like thing (part chameleon, part gecko, part iguana).
A small dragon that also appears as a tiger.
A stray cat I used to feed that died and attached itself to me because I was kind to it.
