If you got whiplash and are now experiencing lower back pain that you didn't have at the time of the accident you need to go back to your doctor because another problem may have occured. When my boyfriend got in an accident he started having sharp stomach pains one night that weren't there before. When I took him to the ER, they said they were glad we came in because a lot of people have more problems arise after accidents and dont come back to the doctor and the problems get much more serious.

Take some Iburprofen or Naproxen Sodium (Aleve) for the pain, apply some moist heat (heating pad with a moist insert), and rest. if you're not feeling better in a couple of days, get a massage to work out the kinks.
