Rev. 19:7-8 (NKJV)
Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." [8] And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
_______
All Christian's that ever lived or will live in the future are called "the Bride". We have made ourselves ready for Christ.
It is a picture of the most intimate relationship we know of. The husband/wife relationship.
We have white garments because we stand perfect in front of God. We have washed our robes in the blood of Christ.
Rev. 7:14 (NKJV)
And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Born again believers make up the universal church. The church is referred to as the bride of Christ. The banquet is the marriage supper of the Lamb where the church is united with Christ in heaven. It is referred to in several passages like Matt 22, Luke 14, and others. Get a concordance and look it up. its a good study-I can't remember everything-

It's a metaphorical term referring to Christ's resurrection and ascension into heaven.
John 14:2 (New King James Version)
1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions;[a] if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.[b] 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
It was the custom of those times when a man was ready to take a wife he would leave and prepare a home and when he was finished he would return for his bride.
Hope this helps.

The Gospel of John says the church is to be the bride of Christ collectively and that we are His bride on an individual level.
The thought of being the bride of Christ means there is someone who can totally consume me – and all my passions and desires can go toward loving Him.”

Psalm 23 is where you will find: Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies:
As for the Bride of Christ, This is His Elect, and can be found throughout the New Testament.

I dont believe that is anywhere in the scripture, but if it is, lets think wisely...: You are at the right side of Christ, You are connected with Christ, you are very important to Christ...You are going to be rewarded for your Love for Him, you are going to be highly regarded with your very own sitting, you soul is going to be greatly and abundantly fed (the soul is nourished only with Love). Well, all that is a series of ideas about the saying, hopefully I in someway got near the right answer, if their is one.

2 Corinthians 11
Paul and the False Apostles
1I hope you will be patient with me as I keep on talking like a fool. Please bear with me. 2I am jealous for you with the jealousy of God himself. For I promised you as a pure bride[a] to one husband, Christ. 3But I fear that somehow you will be led away from your pure and simple devotion to Christ, just as Eve was deceived by the serpent.

II Cor 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present [you as] a chaste virgin to Christ.
Ephes 5:25-27 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Rev 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb.
