Yes, if you have a cup of any hot beverage including coffee or tea before a meal it will curb your appetite.

not unless your ONLY drinking the broth. I would not drink broth but I would put a bullion (spelling not so good sometimes) cube in a tea cup with hot water. You can get the sodium free kind, not as tasty but at least that will allow you to add just a little bit of salt to make it taste better. Although I would not recommend this diet unless you are getting enough supplements and protein on the side. Be careful! :)

Some say drinking a glass of water before meals will curb your appetite, so if that is your goal with the broth it likely won't hurt, but may not help. The best way to lose weight is eat sensibly (healthy foods, cut calories) and exercise.

ive never tried anything like that it sounds kinda crazy don't take offense....my common sense says yeah it would work after a while but your body would hold on to any fluids because of the high salt content in most broths, also your body would go into starvation mode so eventually when you ate "real" food it would be stored as fat because your body would not know when it was going to get fed again. i wouldn't suggest it but hey to each there own be careful though

I doubt it would work, broth is filled with salt unless you buy the salt free broths.

It gets boring. You can only do it for a few meals and your sick of it. Besides it has a very very high sodium (salt ) content. If you want to diet Weight Watchers is a great program..

it works but not very well.... there is too much sodium in broths...unless you make your own without salt or with a salt sub... but they are not very tasty either
