Rashad Khalifa said that he's a MESSENGER not a PROPHET. meaning he merely came to explain the quran and purify its teachings...something like that.

we muslims believe that Mohammad(pbuh)is the final prophet from God.but he warned us that false prophecies will rise and fall.he told us that in the end of time al-mahdi and jesus christ will come down to earh to straigten things up and that we should follow them when they come as they will be with islam and not against it.i'm honestly not sure or familiar of the story of this rashad khalifa that you talked about but can you or anyone give to me a site which i can find information from so that i can tell you my solid point of view......i'm not sure if he is assuming that he is a prophet or just someone telling something new or enchanced in islam so provide me with more information.but if he is rewriting the holy quran adding and removing things from it then he sure is corruoting or doing something wrong with the Holy Quran.........PEACE....
