I am a 53 year old man, single, white, and hetero. Also I tend to be a bit agorophobic so going out is kind of a problem. I would like to meet a woman, however my personal preferences can also be a problem. I prefer petite, white, dark hair, well endowed and intelligent. Most of the time I find if a woman is interested in me, they are way too chunky. I had a problem with large women as a kid and am afraid it caused me to be turned off by them and I do not find them attractive in the least. Perhaps it's too late for me to be so set in my preferences, however I cannot stop. Can anyone make a suggestion? Only serious answers accepted.

Seriously Tom - you probably need to deal with whatever was your 'issue' with the big lady earlier in life, to be honest if you have hang ups and baggage it is always difficult to make a relationship work - even if she was Kylie Minogue!
I would suggest you start by seeking some professional help to process your feelings about the issue. Then I would suggest getting online to some serious dating sites and get chatting - I would suggest you dont go for a photo driven site try parship.com they have compatibility tests and secure ways of chatting. Maybe once you get chatting it will be slightly easier to find a space where you can meet up and be relaxed. It amazing how many perfectly normal people are online and wanting serious relationships.

Everyone has a right to their preferences. Look at it this way, what do YOU have to offer this woman you desire?? Do YOU compare to her standards??
Beauty is only skin deep and I think you're using your "problem" as an excuse. You can always date a chippie who is 20 or something only out for your money. Good Luck. I see a lonely future for you, honey.
