Try a sticker book. Every time she goes let her pick a sticker and then write a 1,2,or3 next to it 1 for pee, 2 for poop, 3 for both. this will help her learn to go and the difference. then after she get 10 pees or 5 poops, or 5 both then give her a prize. not candy, maybe a quarter in her bank or small toy she likes ( i used hot wheels) If you want when she fills a page she gets new movie, or toy, etc.
this worked great for my son and my sister says it is doing good for my neice

with my girls nothing seemed to work until i bought them a little seat that you sit on the big potty. They were not at all interested in using the little potties all they wanted to do was play with those. We also one day just took the diaper and pull-ups away and let them run around the house naked or in regular underwear, it only took maybe 3 or 4 accidents before they decided they did not want to be soaking wet. With all children patience is the key, i started potty training at 2yrs. old and my twins were day and night potty trained at 2 1/2. so it did take 6 months of hard work and lots of patience. With the night time training the best thing to start doing is giving no drink after 6p.m., only a sip of water if they say they are thirsty when they go to bed. and make sure she tries to potty right before bed.

My daughter is also 3. She has been potty trained for a year. I tried several different ways to get her trained and she was just stubborn. Finally I decided to get her some "big girl panties". She thought that they were cool because they has Dora or other characters so she didn't want to mess them up. As soon as we did away with pull ups and used panties she went to the potty and never had an accident again. Not even at night.

I used a sticker chart. One sticker for every potty use. After 5 stickers my son got a prize from his prize box (dollar toys). After 20 stickers he got a trip to Chuck E. Cheese. I also let him go to the store and pick out his own big boy underwear.
Also this may seem mean, but let her sit in wet clothes for a little while. I'm only talking a min or two, but let her see it is uncomfortable to be in wet underwear.
One additional thing. I told my son his belly would tell him when it is time to use the potty. It has been a few months now and he still tells me his belly is talking to him. This means he is getting a belly ache because he has to do a number 2.

Try explaining to your daughter that if she does not use the potty, she is going to mess up her undies. Tell her that she is growing big and is not a babay to use diapers. I have a girl of 5 and i did that, trust me it worked. I guess if you explain to the kid the consequences, trust me they undersatand. Try not using diapers for sometime, but keep her in her undies, so she can feel herself peeing the moment she sees that, she will not like it and she will make sure to do something about it. Also ever 2-3 hrs, remind her if she needs to use the potty. It is trouble for the first few weeks, but it wil pay off.

I'm having the same problem with my 3 year old! We let her pick out pretty panties, we've rewarded her with M&Ms, we've tried just putting her in panties and letting her get wet. She refuseses to go anywhere but the diaper, until last week. We started swim lessons and I put her in a swim diaper. I told her she could not go tee tee in the swim diaper because it would get her bathing suit wet. Well, it worked! While we were at the pool she always told me when she needed to go potty and she actually went in the potty!!! I think we are going to try telling her the same thing about her big girl panties this weekend and see if it works. We are going to bring out the old sticker chart and let her get the Dumbo movie, she loves elephants, when she gets enough stickers. Maybe you could try something like the swim diaper thing with your daughter, you never know. Good luck!

My daughter was 3 when she finally used the potty. We finally one day just took off the diaper and let her go potty on herself. We were outside of course or made sure she wasn't near the carpet. After a day or two she had enough getting it on her. We were relieved too... we were doing alot of laundry and cleaning up the kitchen floor. One night I forgot to put her diaper on for her to sleep on and she didn't pee the bed.. when I put the diaper on and she'd peed in it. She was outsmarting us.
Also a good thing to have is a plastic mattress cover under her sheet to practice not wetting the bed. Accidents happen. Nobody's fault.

Yes, I know by 3, the Mom starts to panic and be embarassed. My oldest daughter was still having "accidents" at 3 and I felt like a horrible mother. But what I've learned is they all get potty trained at their own pace. Encourage her, but don't scold or humiliate her. I did buy my younger daughter some very pretty "bunny soft" panties to encourage (bribe) her to use the potty. I told her you can't soil your bunny softs. It worked and she loved those panties for a long time.

Why not just try her on the toilet. She must have seen you go to the toilet before. My son did not like the potty and went straight onto the toilet. Plus itst he summer time now and you could let her run around the house with out a nappy just pants and see how she goes. Good Luck I know how you feel.
