Nope. When you file for disability your doctor submits his records and test results only. They don't care what his opinion is, the insurance company and/or Social Security has their own doctors who review the evidence and come to their own conclusion based on the parameters of the program your applying for.

It depends on how disabled you are, and if every thing has been done for you to relieve your pain, you usually have to see a few Dr's , also depending what state you live in, disability is not a lot of money.

They can try their best with documentation, however it is the Soc Sec office that makes the decision to deny or accept, if denied you have the right to appeal. Get every document to hospital visits, other doctors seen for this condition, every procedure done, any type of therapy for it, etc.

Your disability is what would makes you eligible. Your doctor simply verifies your disability.

You may have a long wait ahead of you dealing with Social Security.They turn down many people and you would have to reapply many times.
