I am an oncology nurse (cancer, working on a bone marrow transplant unit. One of the major issues, that the chemotherapy causes the patients own bone marrow to die. Your bone marrow makes your white blood cells. There is no credible foods that cause your white blood cells to increase.
I found a website that gives an interesting answer "yogurt that contains live active cultures of Lactobacillus Bulgaricus and Strepococcus thermophilus. Some other specific foods to include are garlic, foods high in zinc such as oysters, pot roast, dark meat turkey and pumpkin and squash seeds (or make sure her multi vitamin contains zinc), and shitake mushrooms."
I don't think there is more then anecdotal evidence of this foods increase in white blood cells (WBC)
There is a drug that we give, neupogen, that increases your white blood cells. It causes your blood cells to become WBC faster.

I'm sure if you drink (hahaha)/inject someone's blood who has leukemia, you'd have a dramatic increase of white blood cells too.
Like the previous person said... it's not advisable to increase your white blood cells.

I think wheatgrass juice helps to oxygenate the cells, helping to improve a persons immunity.
A green powder, like miracle greens is similar to the above- Add it to a smoothie to help detoxify the blood and increase your energy and vitality.

I think, it is not advisable to increase level of white blood cells. But if you WANT to do this, that can be a problem. Which kind of a problem? Well, you will endanger health of your own, if you do it to yourself, or health of others. Do you STILL want to do this? Hope, not. Best regards!

My specialty is cancer, not food. But I only know more than other kids my age. Except cancer patients themselves.
