it doesn't have to be a certain amount of money. And they do it free. And I don't think there is a distance limit either.

as far as i am aware there is no minimum amount
you would need to log on to the tesco site tesco.com
they will tell you what branch you will get your shopping delivered from you will have to pay a delivery charge which varie from £3.99 to £5.99 depending on which day you have it delivered

unlike another person who has answered i have always had good service they made one mistake once delivered 6 red instead of 6 white wine (driver picked wrong ones up )within 4 hours of reporting it i had another driver at the door to swap the wines for the ones i wanted

they do give substitutions if they dont have what you want but you can send it back if it is not suitable and you will be refunded the money

they have only been late once when it was a new driver who got lost

The best way to find out the answer for the area where you live is to visit tesco.com and use the store finder. You can put you postcode in and it will tell you where your nearest stores are and if they have .Com or not. As for delivery charges, it varies. It's more expensive at the start of the week, £5 I think and slightly cheaper towards the end of the week, £3 I think. The store that delivers to you may not be your nearest store as the delivery routes are done on postcode. Each store has a set catchment area according to postcode.
When it comes to use by dates on fresh foods, the pickers are supposed to choose products with that are at least two days before their 'display until' date whenever possible.
I would suggest if you experience any problems with the service you call the store and ask to speak to the Dot Com Manager, or call Customer Service at Dundee and they will do their best to help you out.
Hope this helps.

I don't think there is a distance limit or a spend limit (obviously they will probably not deliver for a £5 spend - common sense really) but remeber you do have to have a clubcard and be registered at their site.
Beware when shopping on line as "Use by Dates" can be next day whereas if you were shopping yourself then you would get the product with the latest "Use by Date"

They charge you a fiver, you have to be near a store (impossible not to be) and they always always make a mistake. My advice would be to try Ocado.com who don't charge for delivery, are always on time and never (so far) have made a mistake.
PS whenever I've had a delivery from Tesco I've had a sarcastic comment from the delivery guy about the state of my hall.

the delivery charge is between £3.99-£5.99, which will be confirmed when you booked your slot
they deliver almost everywhere in the uk, but to find out for certain register and go to the home page and they will be able to tell you from there.
