If there is NO opposition! What is there to chose between? No doubt man will find something.

Originally, we gave God the opposition by sinning. Throughout the Bible times, you will always see God always extending His hand of mercy first and then when disobeyed, then He judged people. The whole purpose for Jesus Christ coming to die on the cross, go to Hell, and live again, is because He wants the "opposition" to have a chance to come on His side of the fence again because, if we're honest, God is perfect and we're not.

If you observe closely, you will see that all of Creation is a balance of opposites. Light and dark, cold and hot, breathe in and out, action and rest....Life and death.

G-d the Creator and G-d the Destroyer.

What do you think G-d wants?

No. Preachers, Popes, Crazy Cult Leaders and Bible cut and pasters want an opposition.

God wants unity. God wants peace.

In fact God has closed hell and not one major religious leader has spoken about it. Why? Because it closes their business.
The business of cursing and damnation.

God will win in the end. The blind and deluded are forgiven.

No. He is stuck with it. He could not stop a rebelion in heaven. He certainly cannot stop opposition in general. He claims he will win in the final battle, but, I bet the other side claims the same thing.

The answer to this question is definitely "NO". Although He does have opposition from satan and his host of demons and from people who refuse to do His will or keep His commands, He does not desire anyone to be in competition with Him.
