Don't do it, it's not worth the risk. Safetywise, some bacteria may have started to multiply and by time it has refrozen, things could be getting nasty. Qualitywise, stuff that has been refrozen gets a weird texture.
Cook it up, and if there is too much for you to eat, invite some friends over to help you finish it!

If it's thawed already, please toss the food. It's not certain whether the food is still safe. If it's slightly thawed, I personally say it's ok to freeze it again. That's based on a personal experience when there was a power outage and the partially thawed food got frozen again after the power was back and I didn't get any food poisoning from eating it.

In my opinion, you should never refreeze food after it has been thawed or partially thawed. You can cook the food and put it in the refrigerator for afew days, but wouldn't leave it long without eating it.

Its not usally a good idea to refreeze something that has already been thawed out. It tends to make it taste not so good.

Cooking it and freezing often is the most proper decision, to maintain the feel and flavor high quality. opposite to commonplace delusion, even if, it isn't volatile to re-freeze appropriately thawed meat.

Definitely not with any meat products. Vegetables should be ok, but it's still not recommended. Prepackaged foods might or might not, as they are usually loaded with preservatives, but the safest thing to do is throw it all away.

If it was any kind of meat...then absolutely NOT. If it was bread, veggies, etc, then you could, but alot of the taste and texture will be gone.
