I'm agnostic so I still keep the possibility of a God there although I am doubtful in that I don't think there is any convincing evidence. I was Christian and I definetly don't think if there is a God that is not what they are like. Why? Well, first I can't really imagine an all powerful deity capable of creating the universe and everything in it deciding to be so obtuse and secretive so that if we didn't choose the "right" church or religion he/she could send us to burn in a lake of fire. Doesn't that seem kind of wierd? Why would a being that intelligent and powerful feel the need to be so petty and childish? Why would they be so hung up about being worshipped? Why would a loving God not give his creations more loving guidance? I know the free will argument but it seems to be used fairly inconsistently in applying God's rules and explaining his behavior. Also, some Christian sects deny the free will argument all together.
Why back when God was communicating his laws to us fairly freely back in Old Testament times, if you believe this, didn't he spell out how to live with true justice in regard to one another. Why allow men to take women as sex captives, why sanction murder when it was against certain people, why allow rape as long as you married the victim? Why does God tell his followers to dash the heads of the enemies' infants against rocks? Does this sound like a kind, loving deity? Christians say that these were just the times but God certainly had the power to say hey, no slavery, rape, oppression of certain groups, this is not how I want you to live. The only thing God seems to get really upset enough to punish people over is not worshipping. When I was young one of the first problems I had with the idea of God came from learning the ten commandments. The first four commandments are all about how God wants us to worship him rather than how we should live in relation to one another. Worship no other Gods, I am jealous, don't use my name in vain, worship me on Sunday. After Moses takes the ten commandments down he finds the people got worried because he was gone so long and made a calf out of gold. They were just a bunch of scared, traumatized people. Moses has thousands slaughtered and goes back to God who then wants more of them killed because he is totally ticked off because they made this calf. Moses has to beg God to not kill more people. God sounds like a total egomanic and I just don't think God would be this way.
The JudeoChristian God is either a vicious tyrannt who I don't find worth devoting my life to or he/she doesn't exist. I find the latter more probable. This explains why the creations are so imperfect (they weren't created by a perfect being) and why natural disasters occur (just nature), and why the world operates by natural laws that are just inherently unloving such as animals needing to kill and consume other animals for survival (again its just nature no loving supreme being created it).
There are some other concepts of deity that I find more probable or at least palatable. I like the ideas that involve a universal spirit or force that is not such an in man's image deity. The Biblical God seems so obviously created in man's image rather than man created in God's image. I'm attracted to the pantheistic concept where there may be an aspect of the divine running through us all. I don't know whether its true, but then I think in the end whatever you believe you believe on faith.

yes i do believe in God, but I dont like his style of controlling this world. Because, you can never get justice from the court of God. He can't simply see us staying happy. If He gives us a happy day, the next day he makes our lives a living hell. If only God was a little more resonable, then wouldn't have been any criminals in this world. People wouldn't have suffered from cancer! All people in this would woould have been rich. But as he is not resonable, some peole have huge feasts in one of the best restuarants, while other scrape off food from garbages just 2 collect a morsel of food.

Yes..I believe in God because the Bible mentions many things that were not discovered 'til years later. I also believe because it makes sense to me than any science claims, since the existence of God nor the science statements are 100% proven and if you could believe that gases were always existing, why not believe that God always existed. Another reason is because all my prayers have been answer and miracles have happened within my family. Lastly, I believe because there's nothing to lose:
If you believe in God and accepted Jesus as you Lord and Savior and they exist, you will earn an eternity in Heaven. If you didnt believe in them, you will go to Hell for all eternity. If you did believe in them and they don't exist then you lose nothing as well as if you didnt believe and they didnt exist..

The fact that you put my King's name in lower case, and demand "supporting details" makes me defensive and atagonistic toward your question.
Yeah I believe in God.
I'd provide you with some glossy 8 X 10 photos with lines and arrows drawn and a paragraph on the back of each one, but it's too early in the morning for such evidence. Call me back in a few hours.

If there are no god so who created every thing,
and every thing we know are either material or power and there are the nuclear relation between them, so the Creator should be stronger.
and you might ask who created god and when
and the answer is not easy because every thing around us is material and that the case we usually think in, may after some practice in thinking about the stronger (soul) we might know the answer.
and they say about the soul there are no time or place or other things we feel

Absofreakinglutely NOT. If he is real, god is the worlds worst mass murderer. On top of that, he used suffocation as his main form of murder. Very cruel!!! Very Cruel indeed! Later, if he were real, he got upset at the Egyptians, so instead of punishing them, he killed innocent babies. Their first born children didn't do anything wrong. Many religious people claim that it is wrong to question god. But when he kills babies? C'mon that's just bulldoodie! (Besides the fact that there is not enough water to flood the earth... haha)

Yes! So many reasons...my mom and dad introduced me to Him long ago. He is real and alive. Who else could have created the trees, the oceans, people in so many different shades? When I prayed I became closer and closer to Him and His Holy Word tells me that when I draw nearer to Him, He will draw nearer to me, so now I can feel Him and witness Him. BUT MOST of all, one day in prayer, my spiritual mentor prayed with me and I felt the Holy Spirit embrace me with a warmth so sweet, it removed all doubt from my mind about the existence of God and His love for all of us.
PEACE

The question is what do you believe?
Can people state their belief without cutting and pasting from the Bible?
Does this have any impact in their daily life?
Proof you want? More proof? Sure, but will you read it?
OK, I can tell you the meaning of ALL (Awareness Loves Life), or the structure of the smallest particles in the universe, what do you want?
