No never they are the oldest insects on planet earth, tomorrow even if the entire world gets destroyed they will still be here, the flying cockroaches are a bit irritating, but then so are human beings.
They best part about them is they are shock proof..its gods gift to them.

Dip them in chocolate and dig in.. I am told they are very high in protien and cruncy like potato chips.. grasshoppers are popular too..
I have never had the courage to give it a try.
I don't like them either.. fried or not.
I had a very bad experience with them in the Army in Texas.. they are everywhere down there.. we slept with pillow cases wrapped around our heads because of them crawling in our ears.. totally nasty.. Some people were really freaked out over it. But what can ya do.. they are back 2 days after the exterminator has left.. and they have been around for somethng like 2 million years.. so .. for the next 2 million years poeple will keep asking the question on Yahoo..
Move north... waaaay north :)
I have never seen one around here.. Vermont..
