You didn't. The proper spelling is Jaeger (normally the "a" has two dots above it, and the "e" is dropped). It's a German word that means "hunter".

As far as the mount goes, there are several that are in use. There is no SPECIFIC Jaeger mount; however, the mounts that I believe you mean allow the scope to be removed and returned to the rifle without losing the zero.

The Schwenkmontage (swing mount) is the most common. It is two mounts (front and rear) with a little lever that allows you to remove/return the scope to it's seat. I use this type of mount for my rifle. They are NOT cheap, but I feel that they are worth the money.
