waxing vs. epilators?

Question

i've tried waxing, even with the gentle strips i found it painful. Can anyone tell me whether the new epilators are more or less painful/effective than waxing?

I find epilators less painful than waxing, and there are new ones on the market with ice packs that cool the skin before/after plucking to relieve some of the pain. You can also control the speed with which they yank, and just do the bits you need to do, as opposed to whole sections (where there may not be so much regrowth).

I find depilatories more painful than waxing. But I can't do the waxing myself, so when I don't have access to a professional I use an epilator.
It's the same with quality. when done professionally, waxing is more effective than using the depilatory. Otherwise, the depilatory is better.

i find epilators agony but then i think my friend was doing it on purpose and i did'nt find waxing that sore she found it agony i think it just depends on what kind of person you are but if wax stripes were hurting you i would definatly give the epilator a try
