I think that "life" after death exists but from our current "living" perspective it is impossible to fully comprehend. I also think that human error exists in every major religion and that no single one has it 100% correct. Most of the major religions set us up with a relatively similar set of morals to live by "do unto others as you would have do unto yourself..." "follow the one true God" etc. The problems lay where the different religion's morals conflict and our personal beliefs convince us that our way of life is better and more correct than someone elses. This is where religion fails us, dividing human beings and making it seem that our lives are more valuable than other people's. The universe is an immense place and the possibilities are endless, life after death is probable but I would never claim that as a living human being I could comprehend it.

I believe in life after death, because every human has an eternal soul, and will either go to Heaven or Hell. I believe that accepting Jesus' death on the cross is the only way to be saved...it's nothing you earn, it is his free gift of mercy to us if we repent from our sins and accept him into our lives. All other major world religions teach that you must do good works or do certain things to be saved, so that is what separates them, from Christianity. Man is sinful, so if he even does one wrong thing in his life, he cannot be in the prescence of a Holy God. This is why Jesus died, to take the punishment that we deserved, so that we could live forever with Him. It is a choice everyone will ultimately make: to reject or accept Jesus.

The answer is there is no "life" after death.
Life as you know it does not continue. However is there another reality after death, who knows; but the life as you know it today will not be remembered, your memories are gone because the vessel (your brain, your biological computer) can't go with you; the hard drive is erased, the memory is gone.
Perhaps the process of our atoms achieving sentience is pre-ordained; we could return to the state from which we came, where we didn't need these vessels to experience universe's space and time.
We could be sub-routines for a greater program... ;) So if you can prove that there is a way to upload your memories or the essence of your being before dying, then your memories and potentially the ability to perceive what happens after you die may be intact somewhere.
Remember, without your life experiences to which to compare your new afterlife experience, there is no frame of reference.
Think about a new born, most of us can't remember crap before 2 years of age, it's because we had not learned how to remember because we didn't know the name of things, how they looked, etc.; we simply didn't know how to build a directory yet for retrieval.
I know many of you don't want to hear that, so enjoy the life you have now, it's a short one.

All the religions of the world - the youngest or the oldest is mans interpretation of how he sees God and his ways. What he thinks as the right path to the one.
what is important to look into your own self - the voice of God speaks within each one of us, call it conscience, inner voice whatever... if you listen to your inner voice, that is the true path to God as it never allows you to break God's rules which are only that you love all his creations as you love yourself and nothing more...
and if you do love everyone so ... can you kill, injure, hurt another being ? and if you didn't aren't you making the world a see bit better to live in ?
I follow my religion - it is an ancient religion and lament at times that the teachings are getting corrupted and interpreted wrongly. All the wisdom may go to waste someday. but I do not feel sad - for I know that all things have to end and when all things end, a new beginning must come...
the true teachings come from God ,,, not from the religions and if you believe in him, you will know that he will once again speak to mankind through the inner voice and guide them, if we care to listen.
Would only blindly follow your own religion if you know a case of a blind mentally retarded girl who was raped by a tyrant and now bears his seed ? would your inner voice not tell you then that maybe abortion is good in this case ?
your inner voice is the key

I've seen too much NOT to believe in life after death. I also believe in reincarnation. I think that christianity was made up. There's no other religion that has so many versions of it's truth. Christians can't make up their minds. Besides, I don't believe religion should come down to control. I believe in the earth and nature. I believe in love and goodness.

Yes there is life after death. Eternal life or eternal damnation.
Major religion's???? Which one are you speaking of. There are true religions and then there are occults and religions that are misleading for those who know no better who have not heard the truth. We must read the BIBLE that is our instructions from GOD to live our lives here on earth.
He gave Jesus his only begotten Son to die for us to give us a second chance at life to free us from sin, condemnation, misery, guilt and the list goes on... Read the book of JOHN in the New Testament. In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. Ask God to help you when you read the word/bible so that the scales that blind you will be pulled off of your eyes spiritually. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whomsoever believeth in him shall not die but have everlasting life........

Forget religions, Christ is the path to salvation.
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Christ is the tree of life.
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Ecc 12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

What do you mean by life in "life after death"? Will we remember our current life? Will we still have the affections to spouse and children? Will part of our personality exist? I doubt it, but our soul may be part of a universe entity that lives forever. I do not believe in religion, but some people may find comfort in it. Without a doubt, THERE IS NO HELL.
