If you've permed or colored your hair, it might be over processed and you need to go to a Beauty Salon and get a deep conditioner put on. Sometimes they will use heat to make it penetrate better. if they can't help you, then I'd go to a Dermatologist.

Are you treating it with chemicals (perm, color, relaxer)? Are you using a deep moisturizing conditioner (Nexxus Humectress or Generics Brand are great)? Are you stressed? Do you take a vitamin (www.mikalclay.com - Vitastrand vitamins are a miracle). For me, I stopped sweeping up the hair and wiping it from the counter when I stopped relaxing it with the harsh chemicals. I used to be able to do anything to my hair but now my hair is more sensitive, but it is very strong and healthy since I changed the way I care for it. Chemicals and hair products break down the bonds that can only be rebuilt with moisture. Also, be sure to drink lots of water, cover your hair at night (pillows can wreck your hair) in satin or silk and eat lots of fruit and veggies. PEACE and best wishes. (stop worrying, too, honey)
