go with the clear, it will be easier to ride with at night. you can always wear sunglasses underneath the clear during the day.

Ideally you should have two helmets...one for night and one for day. But I would stick with a clear one and wear sunglasses if I needed to.

That depends on if you are riding on a sunny day or at night, but the clear one is more practicle because you can always just wear a pair of shades if you need to.

a tinted visor must never be used at night as it stops you seeing certain colours. Here in the UK people have ridden into parked cars because of their tinted visor.

Color, or design doesn't matter. They all have to meet certain safety requirements in order to be sold as safety helmets.
