The sedative should not harm the cat neither the cat-trapper.
Can the sedative be given in milk or curd?

Don't do it! If you really need a seditive for your cat, call a vet.

Tell me how to get ahold of the Xanax and I'll tell you!! Actually I would never give my animals any human medications but I'll tell you this. 98% of the time doses of pet medications are based primarily on the WEIGHT of the animal. Call a veterinary clinic and talk to a vet tech or possibly the vet him or herself if it's a small neighborhood vet. My answer would have to be....PLEASE don't give your cat XANAX. If this is for travel I can tell you this. I worked with baggage and cargo for a major air carrier and saw one too many DOAs. Either because of over medication. Or under medication which they told us in training senarios can cause he animal to wake up too soon and put them into shock.
One more tip...a common problem with feline care is that they should get milk. Ironicly , cats have a VERY hard time digesting milk and dairy and can cause serious health problems. I imagine that curd would be far worse. If you do acquire the proper meds and your cat will only take them with milk then do it as seldom as possible with only milk with the lowest possible fat content...ie , skim milk.....Good luck and be careful , your cat is relying on you.

I would ask your vet before using any sedatives on your cat. He/she can give you the proper dosage if this in fact, safe to give your cat.
