i've never had had it but i know that to cook it the best way is to cake it in clay, put it under the ashes of a bonfire n then when it's done pull the clay off (which pulls the spikes off) leaving just the flesh. yuk i'd say but each to their own!

Well to cook it, boil the hedgehog whole, and every ten minuties check to see if the spikes are softer. After about an hour take the hedgehog out and the outer skin should fall off, revaling the hedgehogs skin. chop off the head and shallow fry for 5 minutes and enjoy! it tastes like moist chicken

Scruffy tw*ts. what do you want to eat a hedgehog for? why not cut the bullsh*t and go to Tessco's get a cooked chicken. it also tastes like chicken

No, I haven't. There are no hedgehogs in America, at least not wild ones.

Traditional, they are baked in clay. When the clay is broken off, it takes with it the skin and spines.

i've seen people eating porcupine, not hedgehog. they say that it taste good, better than chicken and sometimes, some part of the meat are bitter.....

It's delicious and you can use the spikes as toothpicks. Yummy.
