Kingfischer22 has guessed right, they are Belted Galloways also known as "Little Belties" in Scotland.

what you saw if they are belted galloways or you might have seen dutch belts which many ranchers in texas use them as spotter bulls for artificial insemination they have a surgury done on the bulls where the penis goes to the side and they cannot breed a cow but the still have the drive too and it will show you what cow is in heat and ready to breed artificially we call this breed of belt oreo cookies

It is probably a Belted Galloway. It could be a Holstein with very distinct markings, but I doubt it. A good place to find breeds of cattle is the following website.

I'm guessing they're belted galloways. Jerseys are brown to tan and holsteins' black and white patterns are more random.
