buy a 2005 or 2006 focus or a
golf 2003 - 2004
these are absolutely better choices for you.
because i have the same problem with you and i am looking for 3 months here is the experience of 3 months.

well the Golf is out, i never had a Peugeot check out how many states you have to drive to get it fixed. and Toyota that is one kicking brand yeah go with the Toyota i had a truck got it brand new changed the oil every 2000 miles and drove the dog out of it.
make sure you change the oil.

I would personally go for the Peugeot becasue it is a nice car and also really reliable. Plus when you tell certain people you drive a Peugeot they'll think it's really expensive and will be really impressed

if you ask me: french cars are not good, my friend is an auto mechanist and he says there are many problems with Peugots. Yaris is ok, but its a small car, if a smaller car is enough for you then choose that one, if you need a bigger one pick the VW Golf:)

think about the maintainencev(service) fee--it s a long term expenese.
toyota's service is always resonable and good .
geugeot--they are a bit fancy, expect to spend more on service
golf---sounds old fashion to me

i myself like toyota..
but all cars u named are really nice!
