Absolutely NOT! My granddaddy had his last child at 48 and lived until he was 79. It sounds like you have a plan and if God has put it in your heart to start a family at 45 just take good care of your body, mind and health and realize you are just someone who wants to live ON purpose, with purpose. Godspeed to you! I'm on your side, but remember, if you don't practice birth control, that family can start tomorrow.
Peace

I was married at 19 (my hubby was 21). Everyone said that we were too young but we disagreed and we still do. However starting a family requires a strong relationship based on trust and faithfulness. We had our first child when I was 21 and I only just managed to cope. I love both my children to bits and wouldn't change anything about them (well almost nothing!!) but if I had my time over again, I would wait until I was around 28-30 before having any kids. I feel that I would have been more able to cope with all the stresses invovled and also that me and my hubby would have had more time to do all the things we wanted to do together on our own. I realise that we will still be young enough to do our own stuff when our kids have left home but I would still wait until I was older.

Base on my experience, I will consider a man to start family at the age of 27-30 yrs old. He has already a job to support the family, a matured mind to take care of the children. Having children at an ideal age is an advantage, because u r able to support their needs at a productive years of your life.

Late 20's or early 30's. it makes for a good retirement with all your kids out of the house by the time you are 50'ish.

um i think 45 is a bit old, but if u love ur wife and if u love ur children and are willing to spend time with them is the most important thing. if u have a daughter and when she is 15 just remember to die ur hair , if u are gona go and pick he up at school in the car. lol

Once your an adult, there is no better way to experience "life" than through the eyes of a child.

no longer a topic in case you have capacity- i would be an older parent besides- i'm 33 now and desire to have my first baby at 35. you have money saved as much as pay for their preparation besides- i think of it truly is a sturdy, sound determination.
