Why does it seem like the good guys always get dumped on by women? Yet all the total jerks get all the ladies?

Maybe it's because girls like that find really caring guys and take advantage of them, or treat them like they're not worth anything, so then those guys clam up and are afraid to trust anyone anymore, then the rest of us really caring girls, if we want any companionship at all, are forced to associate ourselves with those "jerks."
It's a vicious cycle.

The good guys are hard to find! The thing with us women is once we commit to a man it is so hard to end it when it is well past time! We hold on hoping that the JERK will change and see what they have before they end up loosing it, but it usually takes the break-up to get the message home. Mean while the nice guys get put aside so the loyal girl can get screwed by the JERK! I think it's just a matter of really bad timing for all of us, in or out of a relationship! Sounds like rationalizing at it's best! I don't know I think I am stuck with a JERK

the pretty women end up being sluts a lot of the time. so they go for everyone and not just the jerks. and sometimes the good guys can seem gay? or too clingy and needy. girls dont want to be too needed so with jerks they dont feel that.

thats only true until around age 30. then the good guys get all the hot women cause the women are fed up with the guys who play the same tricks and they want something real. as for me. i dunno, im a good guy and i dont get dumped on by women.

Thats only true for women with self-esteem problems, or the very young...As life pushes you around, you start to understand what matters in a mate, and things change...Nice guys rule!! They listen, they care, and they are damn good in bed...

see not all nice guys get dumped its the girl that's not nice not you shes looking for someone evil just like herself !
sorry man but i have nice boyfriend and Ive had some pretty nasty ones and i thank my lucky stars for him all the time !

well, all those guys who u think are jerk are probably nice guys and may be u should ask those girls who dumped u that which category do u fall in.'nice guy' or jerk !
