You should tell him that you can't be with someone who is so irresponsible with their money. If you were married, would he gamble your grocery money? Could he help you pay the bills? Tell him to get in line or you're gone! It's different when you bet money that you can afford to lose.

If he is losing more than he can afford he needs to either cut back his gambling some, quit gambling altogether, or get a 2nd job.

Threaten to leave him. I'm serious. Cutting the story short. I had a bf who was in NS and I was a student. No money but bet. I worked part-time to pay off his debts. Not enough? I borrow from my friends. And he takes ages to pay them back.

Knowing his "no money still want to bet" character, he's own friend(bookie) dun allow him bet. Know i have friend(guy) who fancy me, he takes advantage by placing bets thur me.
Last WC, the amount snow-balled to over 5k. I was a student. And i was almost taken advantage of by dealing with that guy who facncied me, he knows i have no money to pay up. I changed my no., walk home with fear every day.

I had a bad time. Yes my ex stopped betting, but not for long. Leave him unless he is willing to stopped off totally. I believe you have seen broken families because of compulsive gamblers. They wun stop unless something very bad happened to them and make them regret for life. High proce to pay for that wake up call. I certainly would not want to have anything got to do with gamblers anymore. Take Care.

Sent him to Woodbridge, ya the Insititute of Mental Health, there's a section for gamblers, irregardless if the person wished to quit gambling or not.

Take away his remote control. No football, no gambling. Or, you could set a rule of, if he gambles, no sexual activity (not even cuddling) for the next 24 hours. Works like a charm.

Take away his money. If thats not an option, it's time to evaluate whether or not you can live with this problem.
