I'm only 22, and it is making me moody to not be able to do more

My problem is that I am constantly knackered! My gran has more energy than I do.

I smoke, but I don't drink heavily (glass of wine with dinner usually), and I don't go to bed very late.

I fel like everything is a chore, I have to drag myself out of bed in the mornings, and I feel like I am too tired to be giving my little boy the attention he needs.

He is a very active child, which is tiring in itsself, but it is much more than that.

I have an "active time" between about 11:00 and 15:00, but after that, I start going downhill again, and start feeling very tired, as if I don't have the strength to do anything.

Please help if you possibly can, I wish I could be more active with my son, and help my family more. It's getting worse, and beginning to be so bad I am having trouble even cleaning my house!

Please don't be mean and suggest it is laziness, I am not a lazy person, and I WANT to do things.

There are many reasons that people become lethargic..

It could be a physical issue-- hormone imbalance, hypothyroidism, chronic fatigue syndrome, anemia, or many other things.

It could be a form of depression, anxiety disorder, or another mental issue.

I would strongly recommend speaking to a general physician or family doctor about your emotions and physical symptoms. They can do blood testing to check for balance levels.. which is rather painless and quick. If nothing is found to be abnormal there, they may consider other testing options.

I have been in a fatigue situation several times, some were attributed to physical problems, (low thyroid, hormone imbalances) and others were due to depression and mental illness.

I'm so glad that you reached out to us.. I hope you are able to take the steps to find out the cause of your problem.. It certainly isn't fun being drained all the time.. and is so rewarding to put a name or reason behind the problems..

Best wishes, and I hope you are able to find the answers you need very soon!

It's obviously fatigue. The first question is do you have healthy eating habits and do you get enough sleep, if you answered no to both of these then there is you problem to why you feel so drained. Perhaps if you start eating healthier and get a full nights sleep, then maybe you will see a difference. Check out the website below and see if any of the causes apply to you and perhaps you can try to correct it some how by improving your habits.

I would go see your doctor. You also need to make sure that your diet is properly nutritious. Could you be pregnant?
