Better to read on the toilet than not to read. When the Pharisees accosted Christ because his follower ate with dirty hands,He said they worried over the cleanliness of the out side of a cup while the inside was never cleaned.
If Christ is with you,he is with you always not just when you do those things you think will please him.He is there through every good, bad, secret and sinful moment.

the toliet is were the devil is said to live. So yes it is a sin. The bible is a pure book. It should not be read in a filthy and dirty place.

Of course, it is a sin...
Bible is a holy book why do you want to read it in a toilet when it is not a clean and hygienic place... There are so many other places that you can read... Plus, you spend 20 minutes maximum in the toilet, so why carry the Holy Book to the toilet.

My toilet is clean and hygenic, definitely cleaner than some of the churches I went to...So, whats the point in objecting to read the bible in a clean place? And its a natural human thing we are doing in that place...You defintely should not pray there, as praying and worshipping should be done in a proper way and reverend manner...

No, I dont think so. Good for you, you still have the time to read the Bible, compared to other people who dont even spare a second to think about God. Nevermind if you are doing it in the toilet or in other places, i think what matters is your intention of reading it -- and that is to learn about the word of God.

I find it's the best place to read it. Not only does it pass the time, but the pages can be used in the event of a t.p. shortage.
It's not as soft a Charmin, but it's better than the generic paper.
