l was always wondering how many languages can people possible know,since l know 7.

1.Japanese My mother language
2. France My major was Francais language and culture in college
3. English a must !
4. Spanish como estas? qieres aser el'amor? ;)
5. Chinese 我的名字是弘之 我愛你 Wo te mienjetze Hiroyuki Wo ai ni ( my name is Hiroyuki ..and I luv u, gal!)
6. Indonesian Hallo? kamu cantik, apa kabar?(= hello, cutie, how is it going?)
well may be 6 but i know another language just for greetings only such as Portugues, Finnish, Romanian, Dutch, Germany.. and another countries i ever been there for travelling

Define "know". English is my native language and the only language I can really think in. I'm fluent but not flawless in French. I'm working on German, but I have a hard time making myself understood in it and my grammar's quite atrocious. I studied Italian and can still read it fairly well but usually when I try to speak it, German comes out instead. I can say one sentence in Japanese.
So, probably two.

hindi my national language
malayalam my mother tongue
can understand a bit of tamil
can understand urudu to an extent
and lots of other languages like telugu,kannada,gujarati, punjabi, all i can make out bit
shud say 3 languages i can read,write and speak fluently
other 6 languages ic an follow a bit .
so u can say 9 languages

I actually dont know all those languages, but i do know Spanish, English, Tagalog and Japanese and i am planning to study Chinese in the future.
