they do have a lot in common, both tried to help people, both had a father that was from "out of this world", and both are stars in great fictional books and movies. Except Superman is more believable.

There is no parallel between Jesus and Superman. But Superman does illustrate what many Americans wish the messiah was like. I do find it interesting, that Superman pretends to be human, while others dress up to be super.
Jesus shed his mortal disguise, his disciples put on white robes.
Is that a parallel?

There is a parallel.
This is much better than thinking of Christ as a babe in a manger or a dead man on a cross. Although both of those views are true history, we are better off to think of what Christ looks like today. He is the second most powerful individual in the universe. He is going to return to earth and take back this planet by force (Revelation 19:11-16). And he will force a utopia upon this sick sick world.

?!? The parallels? Superman isn't without sin the way Jesus is. A superman, sure, but not perfect. I certainly don't feel threatened by the supposed "parallels."

Superman isnt Jesus,but Jesus is a superman.
In details,Supermen can be a creation of god but not of direct power as Jesus.

Neither. Superman is fiction (imagination) and Jesus is real. There is no parallel or comparison to Jesus, for He is God who became man.

Yeah, they both have superhuman abilities, they both save the world, they both died and came back to life...etc. etc. They are both merely incarnations of the archetypal hero, a character who has appeared in stories since before the dawn of civilisation.

there are tons of parallels...
both can fly
both are faster than speeding trains
both have x-ray vision
and both are fictional characters...
