Does anyone know of a website that has payroll tax information for the state of TX? It needs to include all tax brackets, (base pay, overtime, bonuses, income levels, tips, etc) My job has a really strange payroll program, a million ways to pay you wrong...and I want to be able to stay on top of it. I will be writing a program in C++ that takes all pay details, figures gross pay, and net pay, and I want it to be as accurate as possible, so I need a site that is sponsored by the state of TX. Thank you

OK. If I wanted a search engine reference, I know all of the major ones...I'd do it myself...I'm in the middle of programming the parts that I already know the information for, so I don't have time for that. I also am not looking for answers that tell me that this can't be done...it is the government has to have guidelines for these percentages, otherwise the taxes that are taken out of your paycheck would have to go through the government, and it would take you forever to get a check from your employer. Your employer knows what percentages to take out of your check each pay period depending on the stats that I have set forth, not that these numbers are correct, but that is what they take out...that is what I'm looking for.

Go to goggle search. Type in Texas State Government-taxes. That should do it. Just keep typing in words into goggle search to find exactly what you want. I am not advertising for goggle search but that web-site is the only site where I can get quick and correct information. Try other sites if you want.

First and foremost, do your homework. You are trying to create a program that would defeat what the government does best, confuse the taxpayer.I would give up the effort because the government has , in the end, all your money , if that's what it takes to keep you in the dark.
