Well Matt Hughes won. He dominated the entire time and at the end, Gracie was in a position where he could not defend himself. I would have much rather seen Gracie win. Even though he lost, he still fought with dignity considering how Hughes had Gracie's arm bent backwards and he still managed to squirm out. All in all, it was a dissapointing fight.

I agree, I wish Royce would have won. Matt did dominate this fight but if you noticed the final position was a classic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu position that nobody ever saw until Royce brought it to the US. Matt can thank the Gracies for that. In the end Jiu Jitsu beat itself, period.

Matt Hughes really won the fight and he dominated it. No disrespect to Gracy as he is great too but Matt was definetly better that night.

Frank Mir received the wrestle yet no longer previously receiving an significant quantity of punishment from Lesnar. Lesnar began off right away and received a fixed position on Mir and altered into meting out some heavy punishment. It wasn't that a recommendations off of being stopped if Mir hadn't escaped. Mir ended up getting Lesnar to tap at the same time as he locked in a knee bar. Lesnar needs to paintings on his submission safe practices, yet he shown sufficient to make you imagine of he has a recommendations-blowing destiny previous to him in UFC if he keeps to paintings stressful.
