you have to give frontline time to work...it isn't instant one day later. you also have to treat everything...your yard, your house, your curtains, your carpet, etc. if your animals are also outside and then back in, they are getting fresh fleas everyday. and regular vaccumming will not get rid of fleas. they will just crawl right back out of your vaccum. also, any eggs in the carpet will hatch and that means fresh fleas. you are breaking the cycle by using the product, but you have to give it time to work.

In my years of experience raising cats, fostering cats and just having them as pets I have found that Revolution works the best. It not only repels/kills all stages of fleas but also protects and treats roundworm, hookworm, heart-worm(by repelling mosquitoes) ear mites and mange. If that's not a great deal I don't know what is. It generally costs around $10.00 a dose but if you buy 6 doses (6 months worth) you get an extra one free. It is a topical medication that is applied once a month to the back of the neck between the shoulder blades. You vet can show you how easy it is. Try it. I think you will like it. I know your cat will!

If Frontline didn't help, that means that you probably have fleas either in your house or yard. Topicals only take care of the fleas on that animal. You need to fog or dust your yard and definately wash all your bedclothes. You can get a spray for your furniture, that's important too. In fact, if you have fleas in the yard, then you are probably the one bringing them in the house, on your shoes. They will get on the cats, but then they will die, of course that doesn't mean that you won't see them actually moving on them. Good luck.

If i remember correctly we used advantage on all of our pets and it worked great. You just have to remember to vacuum every day to get rid of the fleas that fall off. We also used the flea shot to help prevent. you can use both at same time.

certainly, Frontline is secure. yet you could desire to maintain on with the classes and positioned it the place your cat can not lick. between the shoulder blades on the backside of the neck. i've got used it for numerous years. we are in a woodsy section, and ticks are a subject. i became surprised. A dose of Frontline, and those nasty issues basically fell off and died. Did an identical for fleas. i could desire to easily approximately hear my cat say, "Ahhhhh."

Advantage is great, use it for my 3 and it works. But don't dose them with this too soon after the other one, they might get sick or poisoned. Fleas are nasty!!!

Sounds like your cats need a bath, real bad. They may hate it, but they need it. I suggest you invest in a good pair of work gloves (unless they have been totally de-clawed).
