i'm over buy .43% buy body fat i need to know if i can get get taped once more this month to get off this flag

where dose it say in the AR 600-9
that apon my requst that my chain of command has to make it a record tape
i talked to my plt sgt and he said i can requst a record tape but it is up to the chain of command

If you have already been weighed and taped this month then all you can do is ask to have it done in order see where your body fat percentage is now.
Other than that you will have to wait until the next month to get that flag removed.

AR-600 does not say that you can request taping within a short period of time. It does say you should have one after one month and at the latest 3. However FM 21-20 allows you to request a APFT test when you believe you have improved your test results. Assuming you don't have a problem in this area this would be your best bet for a record test and removal of flag. Flag can carry over in a transfer or reclass especially if you are passing the APFT. It does however hinder schooling or promotion.
Buddy of mine use to have to be tape everytime. Sort of humourous since he could bench lift a hummvee Night before he would do wrestling bridges for an hour. This pumped up his neck muscles for the next day so that he flew through the taping and then he went out and maxed the APFT.

You can request a record tape to end a flag whenever you like, however, your chain of command does not have to drop everything they are doing and do it that very second. They are busy too.

You may be taped at anytime the Commander says, however only once a month for record purposes.

If you are on a flag and you think you can pass a tape test now you definitely can get taped on demand to get off.
If you fail it that will count against you.
