Because it's only 1 am PST. I'm not an insomniac -- I just enjoy being up late at night. The question should be why you're awake at 4 am EST, still asking questions.

Oh.. where to begin!
I personally enjoy being up during odd hours, because it is a slower time of day.. fewer phone calls, fewer responsibility, and more time for relaxation. I am also more able to just mess around on the computer and have no worries about leaving the rest of the family out of my time.

Besides that, I just feel more comfortable at night.. it just seems natural to be awake at this time of day.

It certainly isn't a wonderful time of day to watch television... it's umm.. odd, to say the least. :)

It's an interesting question, and look forward to seeing more answers!

Well it is only 3am here and I am awake because I have a sleeping disorder. I am answering questions because the game I play on-line is down until 7am EST. I also am answering questions because I just like to help people.

It's just before one here in sunny California (which really isn't sunny at 1 in the morning...) But I like to pretend that the world sort of stops and night. I've always been a night owl... as long as I can remember.

That's why I'm up...

My insomnia is a side effect of my health problems. I currently do dialysis and as such our days and nights get reversed. I hate it but I have tried everything to sleep at night with no luck.

In the majority of the planet, it is NOT the same time as where you are.

It is quite apparent that your bedtime has come. Sleep well.

It's 3.52pm in Malaysia. So shouldn't I be awake? or sleeping in office?

Actually I wish I can sleep in the office now.
