Christians and Jews don't seem to hava problem when God commanded the Israelites to go destroy entire cities!!!Even the babies and old people, even people that was not able to defend themselves!!!

But along comes Muhammad with his revelation from God, he made war In the name of God ASWELL!!! But then everyone goes and calls him a murderer!!!

What gives with that Double standard?

Look Im not Muslim, I'm just someone thats trying to understand God and our purpose (if thats possible).

If you look carefully at the Bible you will see that God always gives men a chance to repent, to turn from sin. There is a time when that chance is gone, but not because God will not forgive but because those people will not be forgiven, they will not reason with God any longer. God then has a choice, allow the wickedness of the people to infect Israel/His people and ultimately destroy both Israel/His people and the wicked or to have the wicked destroyed. A good analogy is the steps that you or I would take to protect our family from a rabid dog. The dog cannot be saved from rabies and the dog cannot be allowed to live because it endangers those that I love.

It is also very clear in the scriptures that God takes absolutely no delight in the death of the wicked.

The real mystery is why God chooses to interact with any of us.

If the will of God is to destroy the wicked or the evil, why must it be man that carries that out? Be a man, God! So to speak. Get out one of your hurricanes or sandstorms or inflict upon them a plague. Why make men and women killers? If you kill someone on the street of your own country or somewhere else while not in a time of war, it's murder, but kill someone during a war and you're heroic. Go figure. Hooray for person X, he took a human life. Is that really something to celebrate?

I think that in the time of war every command of a commander is kill and stay alive. And that's all about Qur'aan's verses and also the Bible.

Luke 19:27 bring those that would not have me reign over them and slay them before me

As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you

Deuteronomy 20:10-14

1 Samuel 15:2-4
Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ***.
Numbers 31:17-18 "Now kill all the boys [innocent kids]. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man."
Numbers 31:35-40 "[From the captives of war] 32,000 women who had never slept with a man.......of which the tribute for the LORD was 32 [among them were virgin girls]."

God never said go and commit murders! Moses, Jesus, Muhammad - none of them favor killings! But it is true, all these prophets faced severe scrutiny by their surroundings and at times killing had to take place because the evil people were too evil too handle alive.

The situation is similar to a man/woman receiving death sentence for a henious crime.

Many Christians don't really READ the bible. So they would be oblivious to knowing that the Old Testament God was violent and vengeful.

They only hear of the God of the New Testament, the one that Jesus preaches about.

That's right. I don't have a problem with God. That's because my sins are forgiven.
You, on the other hand, may have a HUGE problem with Him.
If you are still in your sins, then God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth, is YOUR ENEMY!
Do you think you stand a chance?

You dare question the character of God? You place yourself as judge over Him?

I've got news for you: God doesn't have to answer to ANY man.
But EVERY man will answer to Him.
