I need to lose weight, a lot! How can I do this? I will probably hear exercise, but the fact is I don't know what types of exercise, and I don't have the equipment or the money to go to gyms. Can someone please give me a few tips?

Well there is no such thing as stupid question!(only stupid answers!)Your question anyway is very common:people just don't know what to do for exercise, they just know they want to do it.
1-The first thing to do is definitely visit a trusted dietitian (or nutritionist). With the help of your physician,he/she will assess your physical ability and thus choose what work out fits your abilities as well as your needs. You have to know that this is very important for your health.Concerning the money,it's not going to be costly.Doing this step will help you know what to do best to get the best results.(if you don't need a diet it won't be expensive, ask about it).(factors that determine what exercise to try depend on your age...etc)
2-Try walking.Experts say that having walks with a suitable pace for your body is the best.In this way you'll be exercising your body smoothly and comfortably.
3-If you're physician approves it, you can always try new sports.Basketball, or soccer, or any other sport you used to hate could turn out to be the best thing that happened to you.If you get to try a sport you could just get attached to it.This will help you get the work out you need without you feeling the routine.
4-gyms are not always expensive.Try looking for cheaper gyms.Yes there are those fancy classy gyms, but there are also those mini-gyms that you can enjoy a work-out for a reduced cost.
5-Again if your doctor approves it, buy some aerobics videos and get going! If you have a limited time to work out, try this from time to time, it will help you energize your body in no time!
6-If you feel you can't keep exercising because of lack of motivation or boredom try to exercise with your family members. You can also check some trusted sites on the internet that will boost your motivation every now and then by reading success stories for people who were able to keep a regular exercise routine or getting more ideas of how you can get the most out of your exercise time.
7-Just don't forget not all exercises are for everybody.Check with your doctor or with a dietitian.Don't forget that age does matter. Also always remind yourself that keeping an exercise routine is not always simple and motivate yourself as possible.Be careful in all sports and all work outs you perform.
8-Have fun!

Definitely diet and exercise. It's hard and not a quick fix, but in the end it'll make you not only look healthier but more importantly feel healthier.

I've seen some aerobic work out routines on TV in the middle of the day that say you can substitute household items for the weights and steps and stuff. Also, in fitness magazines most of them have sections that show you workout routines using your own body weight.

I jump rope and it's done wonders for me. They're relatively inexpensive and there's many different types of activities you can use them for. For example, a marker to slide your hands on the floor when doing a crunch. Also you can try different jumping techniques like one leg tucked up as close to your chest as possible or alternating high knees and butt-kickers.

Hope this helps!

Of course you will hear exercise. Dont start too much all at once. Start walking up and add more time every day. Probably visit your doctor. There are all kinds of exercises you can do without equipment or money. Ask friends for motivation!

There is no need of money for securing good health through exercise. Brisk walking min. four miles a day in 40 minutes at lest four times in a week is recommended. Avoid excess use of vehicles, elevators. Deep breathing to be slowly increased to about 30-40 breaths is one more thing. But do not forget excess exercise is also bad. Type of exercise suitable to you will depend upon your age and other health parameters. Hence take good advice before you start. Avoid crash diet and crash weight reduction programmes.

You don't need to go to a gym and you don't need to spend money. Put on your shoes and go for a walk. Walk for five minutes away from your house. Then walk back. The next day, add a minute. And each day after that, until you're walking for 30 minutes away and 30 minutes back. That should do it. Drink plenty of water and remember to get 8 hours of sleep each night. Studies have shown that people who get enough sleep lose weight more easily. Good luck! You can do it!

You can make an enormous amount of progress by just walking. Start out with 20-30 minutes. Try to walk as though you are almost late for something for of much of it as you can. Getting your exercise doesn't have to be a huge deal, you just need to find ways to add activity in your life. for example, park far away from doors at stores. You'll get used to it and laugh at those folks circling, circling...want to sit and watch a movie? walk to the video store to get it.

Here is something most people won;t mention. If you are significantly overweight and have problems with skin rubbing when you walk, use a product called Body Glide, available at running stores or on line. it will save you much misery.

You does not have to go to gym or somewhere else for weight reduction. Just Avoid fast foods, alcohol, and other soft drinks. Breakfast like a king, lunch like a middle class person and dinner like a poor man. Never skip a break fast, add salad and grains in your lunch and never go to sleep immediately after dinner. And walk briskly for 30 min a day. good luck.

Walk....Walk...Walk!!! Seriously, I know it sounds so simple, but I walked when I was pregnant and barely gained any weight(no worries, we were both healthy) and my second pregnancy, I couldn't walk because I was on bed-rest from day-1and I gained 43lbs!! Yeah..so it works!! Plus if you're lazy like me (lmao) put a treadmill in front of the t.v and turn it to MTV!! (Make sure to put slight incline on the treadmill)

All you have to do is WALK. Walk 2 miles a day and the weight WILL come off if you don't eat anymore than you are already eating.

I suggest taking fast walks during your lunches, or breaks at work. This way you get paid to do it (kinda) and it doesn't take up your home time. Lastly its not so much what you eat, but how much you eat. Eat more often, less at a time, and your body won't store fat.
