If you ask a question then you have got to expect different responses to it...just because some ppl have a different point of view doesn't mean they are wrong..that's just life..there are more important things to worry about than some ones response to a question..

I know. I asked a serious question about the ozone layer and got a nonsensical crackpot answer from someone spouting Jesus at me, (even though I wasn't expressing any of my evolutionist views but seeking a solution to the problems of the planet!). This kind of abuse from people who claim to be Christians merely proves that they are not Christians at all. I thought the Christian message was tolerance and kindness to others.

These people wouldn't know the meaning of the word tolerance, and if they're all going to heaven, then who would want to go there!?

Don't be too mad/furious - that's what the person answering wants you to feel. No one responds like that and then signs, "in God's love". Don't take those people seriously.

That person sounds like a very angry and unhappy person and when he makes it to the Pearly Gates and faces St. Peter, he is going to have a lot of explaining to do regarding his lack of respect for his fellow man regardless of their religious beliefs. That is so unchristian of him to judge someone simply because they don't believe in God. He should know "Judge not lest ye be judged."

And that person will never get into the Heaven that they claim you would never enter neither. I do not feel that you need to believe in the Christian God to enter a positive afterlife, just live a righteous life!

I wouldn't give it a second thought. The only thing irritating about it is that I actually feel dumber for having read the post you referenced.

I don't understand.

If you 1/2 expected, then just 1/2 leave. right?

until you are good at understanding TRUTH, you will never be good at explaining, anything.

TRUTH TRIUMPS OVER LIES EVERY TIME.

have a good night.

Yeah. I am a christian. He obviously is not. Or he is but he didn't read the Bible correctly. I don't hate them. But hey, they can't celebrate Christmas and Easter.

Mostly I'm sad for people like that who live their lives in fear instead of love, in reaction instead of action.

If you're talking about skewer008, he's not serious - he's lampooning the attitudes of rabid fundies.
