i am mentally very active and alert, but when it comes to go out, meet people or simply take a walk, i feel extremely depreesed and lazy, taking out some excuse and staying at home in the evenings, while other people enjoy outdoors , fresh air, casual chat, i miss out on all this due to lack of proper motivation.how do i self motivate myself, so that i will be equally active physically also? i need guidance from you people out there, who are always ready to go out.

Only you can cure yourself. Physical and mental fitness should have uppermost priority in your mind. Everything will be simple then. Once you make up your mind and start going out for a brisk walk then challenge will be to continue it without any break. Any physical exercise if not taken for three days in a row, you will not feel like doing it again hence never take break if taken don't allow it to persist for more than three days. Best wishes!

I understand I feel the same way as you but I force myself to go out for a walk. I started with a plan (i.e. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) 3 times a week, just to see if I could stick to it.
I motivated myself first by looking at myself in a full length mirror in the nude ( I did not like what I saw) everyday before showering. Second, whenever I needed to take an elevator no matter how many floor up I needed to go I would always use the stairs not in a rush motion but I would go
up the stairs non-stop. If I hoof and poofed once I would reach my floor then I would know that I am out of shape and not fit. ( Health-wise ) Now I go up 13 flights of stairs like nothing.

You need to learn from daily experience that regular walking makes you feel better, clears and relaxes the mind, makes you breathe and sleep better. Only the first hundred yards are difficult and after that walking is very enjoyable.

Get your walkmen, put in your earphones, and just go out and do it. the music will keep you distracted enough so you don't get depressed as you walk.
