My mom has her birthday in three days and I still have not decided what to give her :( . What have you given your moms and do you have any more ideas?
Last time I gave my mom a really beautiful tea cup.

ur mother carried u for 9 months, went thru labor to bring u into this world, fed u and the list can go on and on. she did all of this cause she loved u; even before u existed. moms are so simple no matter what. u can go out and buy her the world but nothing would make her birthday as special as a nice big hug and a happy birthday. tie a ribbon around ur finger and let her know that u are her present and just let her relax and be hers for the day. don't allow her to do anything. take her to breakfast do the chores make dinner and at midnight ur free.

Well the best thing u can do is before she gets up............ make tea and give that in the tea cup u gave..........try and more responsible.........and make her day the best day in her life by doin small things like helping her and at the night making dinner for the whole family.............she will really feel proud of u and then u are eligible to ask for a return gift too,....

Give her a card with pages as to how old you are....on the front of the card put a picture of your mother...on the next page put a picture of you and her when you were born. on each page after put a picture of you and her as you were gr owning up. at the end of it put some pictures of something that you both cherished together. then put a little note telling her how much you appreciate her and what she has brought to your life. thank you for being the mom that she is. there could be no greater gift than from your heart.

I would really like it if someone else made dinner ...and then washed the dishes afterward without being asked! That would mean my kids were really growing up and becoming responsible and thinking about me which would make me happy besides the actual lack of having to do the work! And make her a card so she has a thing to remember the day by.

Thats a difficult question! Considering we dont know your mum, her age, her likes and dislikes etc! A nice garden ornament or wind chime is the type of thing i go for now. My mum has too much stuff inside her house now. A nice soft towel set , somthing to pamper herself with! Somthing that will help to make her life a lot easier is always the go! Clean her house for her for a week! She'll appreciate that!

Don't you think it depends on what she likes/wants? Why don't you ask her, which is what I always did with my mom? If you live near her, you should know what she's "into" or what she might need. If you don't know, then ask her -- my mom always liked certain colognes or bath powder or simple things like post-it notes or pens or videos or kitchen gadgets. It really depends on what she wants and what you can afford. If you can't afford much, give her a nice card with a homemade coupon "book" inside -- "This coupon valid for one house cleaning." -- things like that. Remember, it's the thought that counts.

Myself being a Mom: Give her a really nice card and just spend the day with her.

For me, it’s better if you could prepare your MOM a simple lunch or dinner outside your house where in you are the one who cooked all the foods…tables with flowers if it is a dinner add candles and a simple hug and kiss will definitely touch you mom’s heart!!

A giftbasket would be nice... Maybe something with a bath or spa theme... Something she could pamper herself with. You could also give a gift card to the local spa for a day.
