I'm not working at the moment. Me and my husband are not getting along well though. I've been a night owl all my life. I used to be a bartender. Got home at 2:30 am. Chilled for a couple of hours and went to bed at 4 or 5 am. It was ok when I was working, but now that I'm not, he doesn't like it. I need to find a job again, but I have tried my damnest to go to bed at a decent hour and get up early. I can not do it. I've been a night owl all of my life.

When my kids were very little babies they stayed up til midnight or 2 am and slept til noon. No one can understand this and makes me feel like a total idiot. I know there are more people like me though that don't live on the 9 to 5 schedule like everyone else. There has to be a lot of night owls out there. I sure wish you all would speak up and people would stop treating me like an alien.

People think I'm terrible for sleeping past noon, but when you don't go to bed til early morning that is very normal.

Yes, that would be me. I am a night nurse on vacation these past two weeks. My body wants to sleep when the sun comes out. So glad for Yahoo answers. Gives me something to do while my husband, cat and dog snore.

From time to time I have been known to dabble in the realm of insomnia.

Just curious... what were you looking for with your question? Just that we are out here, or comments, I don't understand the premise/motivation for your question.

It's like asking "what's you favorite color?"
