my hair is very wavy, but not just wavy, its straight and wavy which makes it looks horrible. I need some tips on using the iron thing. I had someone try but it turned out worse than before and had all the ends sticking out. also, is it supposed to be hot like you can actually see the steam come out? and when you drag it down, do you have to drag it straight down, or will it work too if you kind of bend it when you drag it. please respond

My hair is wavy also (with some parts straight) and I can't even use a straightener because my hair is so thick. Most people with wavy hair do have very thick hair. I attempted to straighten it a few times and all it did was make my hair permanently thinner and it only stayed straight for about an hour, and it didn't look good. So I settled on some de-frizz shampoo and called it a day. I like it much better unstraightened. Just find some shampoo and conditioner that fit your needs and you shouldn't ever have to straighten it again.

best products i have used by far!

-buy john frieda shampoo/conditioner... like sheer blonde, brilliant brunette, radiant redhead, or probably better for you the smoothing shampoo/conditioner.
-after your shower put in john frieda step 3,4 of the straightening/smoothing system
-after blowdrying step 5 of the straightening/smoothing system

it seems to me like you're frying your hair. and if your hair is fried it won't work as well with products and will end up being frizzy/wavy in your case. have the straightener on a high enough heat, but not so high it's burning your hair. straighten your hair in sections, starting from underneath. don't over straighten sections too much. you can bend it towards the end of your hair length to get a nice curl under. ceramic irons work best, although they can be pricy.

also. wavy hair is in! if you don't like it because it is too out of control, buy taming products to calm it down.
