It sounds like a uterine infection. 'Green' always indicates infection. She need to see the vet as soon as you can get her in. Uterine infections are deadly.

Do you mean a green "drainage" from the vagina? If this is the case there could possibly be a bacterial infection which\ should be treated with antibiotics ASAP. Does your dog have an appetite? Is her nose wet? Usually if a dogs nose isn't wet it could be a sign of a fever. Not always, but it is a sign. Call your vet and tell them whats going on. Most vets can recommend a home remedy if money is an issue. Good Luck

as the very concenred dog owner you are, I'm sure you just described the symptoms Now, if you're thinking there's a possibility that she might be pregnant, then it's obvious you either have a male dog, or male dogs that visit her in the hood. In that case, just maybe, it could be doggie sperm running out of your dogs vagina, but yet, still, as a concerned dog owner that you are. I'm sure you would know to take it to the vet and have it checked out. Well, hell, you might not know to do that. You might have yellow / green drainage from your uterus and therefore consider ir normal....what the hell do I know.

This needs to be seen by a vet. You did not say how much discharge but it is not normal. This is also why we tell people to spay their dogs. Females dogs can get an infection in their uterus, called "pyometra". It is very serious and requires surgery to remove the infected organ. If this is what is wrong with your dog, it can be fatal. Take her to the vet beforeshe gets too sick.

Sounds like your dog has pyrometra which is a life threatening infection. It usually shows up after a heat cycle. It can be treated with antibiotics but the chances of it returning are great. Better to have your dog spayed. Get her to the vet immediately.

Whether she is pregnant or has an infection she needs to go to the vet. Any discharge needs to be investigated by a professional. Do it now before it gets out of control.

take her to the vet!! i don't get why you people ask questions on here about animals when they are sick, hurt, and in obviously not good health and they will need vet care. It's common sense! Your duty as a pet owner is to provide food, shelter, company, and above all else, MEDICAL CARE. Instead, you waste precious time asking questions instead when lives can be in danger.
sorry to come down on you like that, but it's ridiculous the amount of these questions that on here.

How about taking her to the vet?
Why are you looking for symptoms BEFORE you go to the vet... something is wrong with the Dog, get her some care or kill her if you are not going to take care of her.

URGENTLY go to the vet. She could have some pus in the uterus (pyometra or pyorrhea), it is often with female dogs, they get infected, and this could be lethal if not treated immediately.
