Do you ever munch on food while grocery shopping and then place it back on the shelf?? My friend works at a grocery store and said she's seen open packages from people munching on chips and cookies and then putting them.

No. But sometimes I will grab a soda and put it in the front of the cart to drink while I'm shopping. I always pay for it with the rest of the groceries.

I work at wal mart, I see that all the time. It sucks because they usaually stuff it in the asile, in with the candy.
When I go shopping, and I'm hungry, I'll munch on something and make sure I have a wrapper with the barcode on it for the cashier. I get that all the time, it doesn't bother me.

Once when i was a kid I saw an immense chocolate bar someone had opened and taken a bite out of... it really chocked me!! :)
i never ate anything in a grocery shop apart from perhaps a grape or two, and when in Sweden they have candy you buy per weight and of course one or five of those have slipped down....
another thing i used to do (when in Sweden) those chocolate tops ( white mushy stuff inside and covered with thin layer of chocolate...i just had to crush them in the packs!!!
im a real hooligan!

LMAO! I usually hand the cashier an empty drink bottle and I always feel cheated for paying for an empty bottle! I saw 2 ladies today at wally world and they had some serious junk in tha trunk and they were in all spandex, ya just gotta love that place. It definitely is a gathering place for America's finest and classiest!

I usually walk straight in to produce and pick up a mushroom, but to go as far to eat anything in a grocer is extremely rude and unhygienic after touching everything 500 other people have touched after sneezing in there hands pushing the cart that every one else has handled and then sticking their fingers in a bag of potato chips is gross. i am certain they are sick quite often.

well i do but what i open its mine i pay for it and i make sure of that cause that's why the prices of the food are so high they have to make up for there lost some how but we all pay which that is not fair if you open it its your like in some store if you break a figure or any thing than you bought it.

That is really low class. I sometimes like to have a soda while I am shopping, but I always take the bottle to the register with me and have it rung up with the rest of my stuff.

No. Have seen people open chips, cookies to calm their Toddler. They usually pay for the one item first.

The only time I have is if it is offered, say by the produce person offering a slice of orange, etc., or as a "legal" grazer, tasting a grape before buying.
