Any time I try to think deeply about a concept I have this mental block that stops my train of thought. Is this ADD or something else.

It sounds like ADD. I have a few friends that have it but when they take medication, they are able to think more clearly. Or, maybe you just can't think hard because that would break the cycle of you having a problem which may bother you. But I would call that OCD, lol. I just suggest seeing a doctor or taking an online diagnosis test.

Yeah that could be a symptom of many things. But you thinking about how you think seems pretty deep thinking enough. I wouldn't say ADD. But hey what do I know I'm just one of the millions of people in the world with yahoo accounts that are on here right now. You'll get better advice from someone else.

Could be several things, stress, a psycological disorder, diet, or one of several med disorders. Best to start with your GP, than if needed have them refer you to a psychologist.

need to prepare carefully before doing that.... You can choose a particular period of time that you feel the best interested to do it... at beginning, focus to the easy and go ahead...
