OK first how are you eating..if your not eating enough protien no amount of whey or soy will help that much, so start there
2. Read the lables on the bottles and stuff, your looking for low carb low fat (i know duh right) protein, soy has been known to have a slight form of estrogen so i'd lean more towards the whey.
3. What are your goals, if your just trying to add a little "looky muscle" take it easy on the supplements and focus on overall nutrition, if your going for the biigins (muscles that is) make sure your workouts are in line with your supplementation i.e. extra pprotien + not enough work=FAT.
Good luck and God Bless.

Here is what works for me:
1- Every day eat at least one gram of protein per pound of your body weight. Some people even recommend 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight (so, 225 grams of protein for a 150 lb person)
2- Drink a whey protein shake one hour before you work out, and another immediately after. I use Isopure protein shakes - each shake contains 50 grams of whey protein. Optimal Nutrition protein shakes are also very good, and Designer Whey is good too.
3- Take creatine - the best is CE2 from MRI laboratories, available at your local GNC. It is in tablet form so you don't have to deal with creatine powder, which tastes nasty and doesn't dissolve well in water.
4- Eat protein before bed - at least 40-50 grams of it. Take it in a slow acting form, like Calcium casseinate (milk protein), eggs, or meat. You can take a shake with slow acting protein instead of "real" foods before bed- I take PM Protein from GNC before bed.
5-(Optional) If you really want to pack on muscle fast, take NO2 which is also made by MRI labs and is available at GNC. It is suped-up nitric oxide, and it will give you gains, gauranteed. It is kind of expensive though.
Do these steps for at least 2-3 months, and I promise you will gain significant muscle mass.
Good luck.

This is not a simple 1 sentence answer. I am a body builder and my advice is for you to talk with a trainer in your local gym......preferably one that has competed before. There is a big difference in reading about BB and actually being a BB. Get Pro Help!!!

Forget all that.. eat a regular diet including more protein enriched foods, increase the weight in your work out. more weight more mass- less weight more reps = higher endurance.
