no it doesn't

NO. Well, at least if you make it yourself it doesn't. Gelatin is only derived from animal sources. Therefore a general guac mix of avacado, lime, chiles and onion, or whatever, would not contain any gelatin. Although, consuming 10 lbs of it would be as hazardous to your health as any other eating binge.............mmm guacamole!!

Gelatin comes from pork, you must mean pectin. It is a naturally ocurring thickening agent. Under acidic conditions, pectin forms a gel, and it can be used as an edible thickening agent in processed foods. This effect is used for making jams and jellies. You can make jams and jellies from these. If there is pectin in Avacadoes it is in a small quantity. But if you put lemon juice in guacamole, you will have pectin in it.

Some processed kinds found in the supermarket do, but fresh guacamole usually does not contain it.

Not that I know of. Not if it made fresh. It is avocados, some sour cream for texture, garlic powder, onion, tomato and lime juice. That's about it. Everyone makes it different though. Hope that helped.

no... for fresh guacamole it's just avocado, tomato, onion, cilantro, and salt and pepper, and some lime juice for flavor, and if you want it spicy add and kind of chile that you want.
